The present study shows the results of a research project whose general objective was to identify the effective behaviors for the prevention of risky behaviors and if they are linked to the Emotional Intelligence (EI), considering it as a positive personal and work resource. By means of interviews and questionnaires, 15 employees were asked for Emotional Intelligence as well as their personal and group healthy resources and behaviours aimed to minimize the work risk. The results show a cognitive and emotional dissonance between group and individual EI perception and allowed to develop intervention guidelines aimed at improving the quality of working life.
